karsearin

Part 22 is the twenty-second part of the Karsearin: The Biography of the Super Dragon.

Plot

Darios, who approached to give a word of admiration to Gaster's magic, was surprised by his unexpected words and asks again about the directing effect, and he laughs. He asks when he's casting a spell, it looks cool just flashing and buzzing around the clouds. He says Gaster that's cool,,, and asks but what the heck does he want to say. As Darios panics, Rasell, who is next to him, smiles and speaks to him. He asks if he said that before that he would use what they had practiced. He says he did, and it's a great magic, and he wonders if it's a new whole magic. At Darios' words, Gaster and Rasell burst into laughter, while Zarnan stares at them bluntly. He asks Gaster why he's smiling. He laughs, saying that whole magic is whole magic,,, because it has to be used by several people. Darios is a little annoyed at Gaster's words that he can't understand. He tells Gaster not to just laugh and talk so he understands. He says Darios that it's whole magic, but it just had the problem that his and Zarnan's roles weren't to destroy the walls. Instead of just smiling Gaster, Rasell speaks to Darios, who asks while looking at him. He asks what their role is. He says Zarnan is in charge of lighting and Rasell is in charge of special effects. At Darios' question, Rasell just smiles softly without saying anything, while Gaster continues his words with a smile on his face. He says that there is nowhere in the world that flashes magic while casting a spell, that what he saw is pure brag, and that he added a little effect to be cool. He tells Darios that Zarnan used the light spell [Lighting] to create the whirlwind he saw earlier, and he used hallucinogenic magic to make the clouds look nice. In other words, when Gaster cast the spell, the flash of light and the dark clouds that were discharged with blue lightning were all staged from behind,,, so he asks Gaster why he did that, and in the end it has nothing to do with power. He says Darios that it's brag~~ and asks if he's getting good lighting too. Gaster smiles and responds to Darios's dreary question, and Zarnan, who was watching him, speaks to Darios seriously. He tells Darios that this is to demoralize the enemy and raise the morale of their allies, that their allies' morale will be extremely high when he sees the Master chanting a spell, and on the other hand, Batran is only looking for a chance to escape. What the hell do mages have in their heads? The troubled Darios quickly congratulates Gaster and decides to do his own thing. He says that the magic that engulfed the fortress walls was great, and the magic was really like a great mage's. Gaster then stops smile on his face, takes out a jewel necklace from within his robe, shows it to Darios, and says bitterly. He tells Darios that it is its power, not his own. A necklace with a ruby-like jewel that is about the size of two fingers and has a reddish glow. However, Darios can recognize that it is a gem other than a ruby. He asks what is this. He replies that it is a dragon heart.

Humans really like dragons. Of course, it would be a dead dragon, not a dragon as a race. The dragon's bones become the material for making the strongest weapon, and the dragon's skin and scales become the best armor. Dragon skins and scales are the most expensive items for all warriors and mages because they are light and strong as well as have innate resistance to magic. In addition, dragon blood has various uses, such as acting as an excellent catalyst for making magic reagents. In particular, there is a 'Dragon Heart', the heart of a dragon, that mages crave even in their dreams. It's not actually a dragon's heart, but a reddish bone-like part that stores the source of the mana the dragon has in its body. The enormous amount of mana a dragon possesses, although it contains only a portion, the amount of mana contained in the dragon heart is an enormous amount that a human cannot accumulate even if it takes a lifetime. He tells Darios that with this gem, which contains only a fraction of the dragon's power, he can use the same great magic as before, and that he cannot believe that they were able to defeat Grateus no matter how much he thought about it. He tells Gaster that it's the dragon heart of Grateus, borrowed his powers or whatever, and he used such great magic, and that such a mage wouldn't exist in the empire far away, and he doesn't think there's any need to put on such a disappointing expression. He says of course, it would not have a mage like him in the empire, and rather, it would be more correct to say that there is no dragon more fortunate than Grateus... he kicks his tongue, saying that he was deceived by an abominable warrior pretending to be mad and he stabbed to death by stabbing his neck. He says that the castle seems to have been captured anyway... but who is the mad warrior, it was all a plan. While Darios and Gaster are chatting, the Karsel army completely occupy the castle. There was no resistance, so rather than occupying the castle, they arrive at the castle while chatting. On the alliance calendar 304, 64 days when the moon of Letear rises, the Karsel army succeeds in completely occupying the southern part of Batran.
