The Creature Chapter 5 is the fifth chapter of the The Creature (Web Novel).
Plot
Boiling... In a small iron pot, meat stew was boiling, giving off a delicious smell. In front of the pot, a boy with long, thin red hair, more beautiful than any girl, stirred the stew with a ladle. Suddenly, the boy absentmindedly lifted the ladle he had been stirring. The soft red hair swayed along with the boy’s movements and tickled his waist. The boy put down the ladle, got up from his seat, and looked around. In a corner of the dark forest, a black-haired boy looked at him and clicked his tongue. The black-haired boy said hey, Arin, what he's talking about, the stew is sticking. For a moment, a flash of light passed over the boy's ruby red eyes. Arin said ...Seton. Arin turned his head to the other side, softly mumbling the black-haired boy's name. A cute girl with purple hair who was gathering twigs in the distance caught his eye. Arin said Yuna... Yuna asked yeah, what's wrong, Arin. Leaving Yuna behind, who tilted her head, Arin slowly moved her feet. And then Arin looked around the dark forest. Arin remembered where he was. Arin was currently on his way to Idelon, the Southern Region of the Gaianes Empire, with his precious comrades. It was getting dark, so Arin was planning to sleep out. Suddenly, a small sigh escaped Arin's lips. Arin said huh... Arin saw a blond boy in a priest's robes, carrying water while struggling. Next to the blond boy, he also saw a beautiful blond girl with her arms folded and holding a washcloth in one hand. Arin said Pete... Charlene... Arin looked around. Everyone was doing their jobs with lively expressions. Arin saw Yuna chanting a spell and lighting the branches she had gathered. After a while, a warm heat seeped into this small forest clearing and a bright bonfire was lit. Everyone started gathering around it with their utensils. Seton, Yuna, Pete, Charlene... Arin suddenly looked back. A few steps away, he could see the stew Arin had been stirring. Given that Arin was acting strangely, the stew should have been quite sticky. However, Arin calmly lifted the pot. As expected, it wasn't sticky at all and only gave off a delicious smell. Arin smiled slightly. Arin laughed ahaha. Arin looked back at his companions. They were sitting together in front of a small campfire that lit up the dark forest, chatting happily. Someone said he has gotten used to sleeping out here. Another said he was used to it, but Mr. Pete has really come a long way. The other asked Seton was used to it, no, when he did, a nobleman, ever sleep in a place like this. Seton said oh, he slept a lot, which was not good, oh, how about Charlene. Charlene answered she's pretty used to it now, thank him for her concern, Mr. Seton. Seton said hmm, but Ms. Aria said she was going to go out and scout around here, so why she didn't come back, she did meet some kind of monster. Someone said well, which one is the monster... The other giggled. The cheerful colleagues were faintly projected in the flickering light of the campfire. A cheerful, cheerful, and lively appearance... For a moment, a sorrowful light passed through Arin's eyes. The boy shook his head and muttered softly. Arin said still... he does have any regrets. A refreshing voice spread through the air. Arin quietly closed his eyes. And Arin slightly raised his hand. Clang! With a light cracking sound, the surrounding area began to shatter into pieces, like a painting on a piece of glass. Someone said that... Ari... see... mons... that's...... The other said he... did that, but... that... Arin... him...... Another said Yuna... don't... say... but...... The other said that... is... inside... his... truth...... Another said but...... It was collapsing. Everything collapsed and sank into a pure white space. In the endless space that stretched out endlessly, without any up, down, or side, Arin began to walk slowly. Suddenly, Arin's footsteps stopped. The corners of Arin's mouth slightly opened. A strange sneer escaped Arin. Arin laughed kekeke...... It was funny. Arin couldn't stand the laughter. Arin slowly sat down on the spot. And Arin lowered his head. The red hair flowed and covered the boy's beautiful face. A sinister voice leaked out from under the long, blood-red curtain. Arin said it looked good... khuhhhh... The corners of the boy's mouth split long and wide. Arin cackled. Arin laughed hahahaha. In this pure white space where nothing existed, only the boy's madness reverberated for a long time. Arin laughed hahahahaha.

A faint voice drifted through the air, faintly brushing past Arin's ears. Someone said Arin.... Arin raised his head. The pure white space had disappeared. Instead, a thick darkness surrounded Arin. Arin stood up with a faint smile. There was something beyond the darkness. A thick iron door emitting an eerie black light in the bottomless black void stood as if to welcome Arin. Arin said ah.... Arin slowly reached out and opened the iron door. The rough metallic sound was painfully irritating to Arin's ears. It was an ordinary stone room surrounded by walls on all sides, and the dim light made it barely possible to see objects. Arin raised his head with a sad face. On the wall opposite the entrance, Arin saw a woman dressed in shabby rags. Dozens of steel wires, chains with many fingers, tore through skin, passed through muscles, and were horribly entangled. A bloody marionette hanging like a puppet in a puppet show. It was a familiar face to Arin. No, it was a face that Arin could never forget. Her awkward smile, her soft brown hair, the hand that gently stroked Arin's hair... Arin quietly muttered her name. Arin said Aria... Aria's purple lips, coldly closed beneath her messy brown hair, were visible to Arin. Arin suddenly reached out his hand toward Aria. It didn't reach Arin. Arin wasn't tall enough. A laughter escaped Arin. Arin giggled. Arin closed his eyes. Arin didn't necessarily have to lift his heels. After a while, when he opened his eyes again, Arin had grown enough to hug Aria. The boy Arin was no longer there. All that existed was a healthy, red-haired, beautiful young man in his early twenties with bewitching and captivating eyes. Arin smiled bitterly at the sight of him own height, already surpassing that of the woman before his eyes, and lightly hugged Aria's nape. Arin muttered sadly as he gently kissed Aria's purple lips. Arin muttered perhaps... this is the reason for his foolishness...

Arin slowly opened his eyes. Arin saw a pure white ceiling. The bright morning sunlight streaming in between the pillars stung Arin's eyes. It was Arin's own bedroom, a pure white space made of marble and numerous magic tools. Arin muttered quietly while lying on the bed. Arin asked again... After letting out a sigh of relief, Arin sat up. The bedding covering his fell down, revealing Arin's slim, solid, pure white upper body. Arin said that's why... he's doing this moisturizing on purpose... At that moment, a soft voice came to Arin from across the bedroom. Someone asked what's wrong, Arin. Arin looked toward where the voice came from. A brown-haired woman with an ordinary appearance was sitting quietly on a chair in the corner of the bedroom, smiling brightly. Aria was a familiar face to Arin. The face from the dream just now... Arin said it's nothing, Aria. Arin got up from his seat and waved his hand in the air. Arin said wrap. A single strand of pure white cloth appeared in the air and wrapped around Arin's entire body. The cloth soon transformed into a set of clothes. Arin suddenly giggled at this power of his. Arin remembered the dream from just now. A dream from when Arin didn't know how to do anything. The woman tilted her head, wondering at the sight. The woman asked why he's doing that, Arin. Arin crossed the room without saying anything. Arin opened the small window on one side of the fancy bedroom and looked outside, where sunlight poured in. Arin saw the sky. The vast land beneath the sky also came into Arin's sight. A huge island in the sky with blue forests, lakes, and countless temples. He smiled faintly as he looked at the splendid scenery of Glaseburg, Arin's own huge castle located in the middle of it all. Arin said yes, dreams were just dreams. The current Arin was no longer a child in a dream. Arin was not a child who would be too fond of the past, which had been over a thousand years ago. Arin was the supreme being with the greatest, greatest, and strongest power on earth. Arin was the leader of all creatures, the Elder Dragon Lord, and a being that even the power of the gods could not reach. But... The woman asked what's going on, Arin. At the voice of the woman calling his name, Arin turned his head and looked at her. Suddenly, a purple madness flashed through the young man's ruby-colored eyes. Arin said he saw... Arin smirked and looked at the brown-haired woman standing in front of him. Arin's mouth twisted strangely. Arin said she's not her... The woman asked pardon. Arin slowly approached her, looking at the puzzled woman. Arin said even though they have the same appearance, the same memories... The woman continued speaking, flustered at the sight of the young man approaching her with an eerie sneer on his lips. The woman asked why... why, Arin. Arin said the woman can't be her... Arin's pure white right hand was reaching out to the woman. The woman's two eyes widened. The woman asked ah... Arin. Crackle. A dull sound rang out. Red blood flowed down the carpet beneath the young man's feet. The frail woman's moans echoed throughout the room. Gag... gagging... The young man’s right hand was stained red and was piercing the woman's chest. Arin was accompanied only by a faint, crazy smile. Arin giggling...

A long corridor supported by large pillars lined up in a long row. In front of the large ash tree gate with a gorgeous gold leaf pattern, a boy was quietly prostrating himself and frowning at the situation inside the room. Someone thought Lord Arin was starting again. The boy nervously brushed his dark ash hair and quietly leaned his ear inside the door. Arin's moans gradually became quieter. Arin's crazy laughter grew in proportion. Arin's crazy laughter soon stopped. A quiet silence began to spread throughout the corridor. All that could be felt was the sweet yet thick scent of blood that stimulated the boy's essence, his vampire instinct that sustains life by taking the blood and life of others. The boy approached the door cautiously. Judging from his past experiences, the Lord the boy served must have calmed down by now. Squeak... The boy tried to be careful, but an annoying sound rang out instead. It wasn't that loud, but the boy felt his heart sink just from that. After carefully entering the room, the boy bowed his head and opened his mouth with the utmost respect. The boy said he met the Elder Dragon Lord Karsearin. Under the bright sunlight, a young man with long red hair stood with red blood all over his body. Looking back at the boy, Arin opened his mouth bluntly. Arin asked what's going on, Garken. The boy continued calmly. This kind of sight was completely unfamiliar to Garken. Garken said Mr. Gaster requested an audience. The young man muttered, lightly shaking his hand. Arin said really, hoo, it seemed Gaster took care of things faster than he thought. Arin glanced out the window and chanted softly. At that moment, the red stains scattered all over Arin's body began to scatter into the air and fall apart. Without even a single drop of blood, Arin left the room behind the boy. Arin pointed to the pieces of the woman scattered on the floor and said to the boy in an indifferent tone. Arin ordered Garken should clean them up.
