karsearin

Part 13 is the thirteenth part of the Karsearin: The Biography of the Super Dragon.

Plot

He asks him if the plan is going well. He says it's going smoothly, nobody knows about it except a few officials, and no one in the castle has even noticed. He asks what about the border side. He replies that everything is ready and that he can move at any time as long as the order is given. He tells it's good, but he's to be careful so he doesn't have any setbacks.

The next morning, Arin departs Serkarsel in a four-headed wagon escorted by 50 horsemen. Arin, looking out at the scenery outside, is bewildered when he sees familiar scenery, and says that this is the way he came. Mina, who's riding together, smiles and says that he said he came from Lael, and it is the same route, and to go to Batran Kingdom, they have to change a ship in there, they need to educate him first so that he can act as Princess Ione, so they brought him to the capital, he goes back the way he came so it is not very interesting, and that she is going this way for the first time. Seeing Arin's expression that he doesn't understand, Mina rummages through her pocket for a moment, then pulls out a piece of folded white paper and unfolds it in front of him. She tells him to look at this map carefully, this is the Karsel Kingdom and this is the Batran Kingdom, and that there is a river with the word Hanan flowing through the two countries, and there is also Lael, so from there he can sail along the Hanan River like this. They say it goes back and forth. As Mina puts her finger on her map and moves around, she outlines their future journey to Arin, who hears the story and discovers one strange thing about the story. He asks why they're deliberately going far away when they go here. Arin points his finger at the border between Karsel and Batran, where the Al Kreed Mountains were written. She tells him that it is an uninhabited place, and is the home of the evil Red Dragon Karsearin. He comes to think of it, saying that this is his house, but what a evil dragon is, and he thinks he's not that bad. Mina, who has no idea what Arin was thinking inside, said that many people lost their lives because of the dragon, and there were people living there a few years ago, but the dragon called Karsearin annihilated all of them and turned the area into ruins. She continues to say that the dragon is hostile to humans to the extent that even a shadow of a human can turn the entire area into charcoal. He thinks that he is such a scary person, no a dragon, he doesn't know who he is, but he's respectful, and he doesn't see the human shadow, so he wonders what he's talking about, and how she knows his name. Arin asks with an absurd expression how did she know that the dragon's name was Karsearin, and Mina bluntly responds that she did not know that, and it was written like that in the book, but when she looked at his expression, it seems that he thinks she's lying. There are no other dragons living in the Al Kreed Mountains, and there is only one name in the Red Clan called Karsearin, so it is certain that the evil dragon, Karsearin, the Red Dragon, refers to him. It's only natural that his expression is absurd. However, he cannot say that it is a lie and that he is the Red Dragon Karsearin and that he has never done anything like that, it's his plight. In any case, she says that she doesn't know well, she just read it from a book, and above all else, that they go to the long way is the most convincing proof. For some reason, Arin seems to be recognized as a fairly infamous dragon in this Karsel. He thinks after he might meet Darios pulls out the holy sword Moon Alstad and shouts, "Evil Red Dragon Karsearin, I, Silver Knight and Dragon Slayer Darios fon Goldbruf, will kill you!!" Arin ponderes what the hell he had done to make his notorious like this. He asks her if there was anything about the dragon named Karstein in the book. She says the dragon was in the book, and wonders why he asks about it. He just smiles because he's curious. She says nothing, just an ancient red dragon native to the Lartead Mountains, extremely ferocious and unconditionally banned. Arin wonders while that part was written properly, but why his story was like that, and he diligently traced his memory that if something has happened without him realizing it, and Mina starts to sleep a little bit because she is tired. Suddenly, Serkarsel disappears from sight, and Arin's wagon enters the dense forest and starts to race through the forest road.

There are 4 types of magic in this world. They are black magic, white magic, and spirit magic and divine magic. Those who use black and white magic are called magicians. Divine magic spells can only be used by priests who serve the gods. Spirit magic is used only by unique people who can communicate with spirits, and since this is innate, if it doesn't suit your aptitude, you can't use it even if you practice it. Instead, there is no need for time to memorize spells or complicated flow of mana at all. How close you are with the spirits and how much you can handle the spirits determines its power. Black magic and white magic are magic that controls the flow of mana as introduced in the previous part, black magic borrows the power of the dark gods, and white magic borrows the power of the light gods. Well, there are quite a few mages who use both. Just as there is no law that says that the person who borrowed money from Jill next door can't borrow money from the Jack front door, you can use both black and white magic as long as you get used to it. It is common to choose either black or white magic. The reality is that even if you work hard all your life, you can't learn either one properly, but not many people want to learn either. Black and white magic, which is not divine magic, does not require religious beliefs. It's a magic that you get in return for dedicating the power of mana you have accumulated and purified in your body to the existence of the contract. So, it is normal that the divine magic should be much stronger than the black and white magic, but the difference in power between the two magics is not that big because the gods of this world are so petty. Dragon magic? They have lived for thousands of years, what can't they do? They can pick and learn any magic according to their taste. So far, it's been on the magic side.
